BERG Contemporary

BERG Contemporary carries out 5-6 exhibitions annually, striving to create museum-quality exhibitions and be a part of today’s international conversations and discourses, meanwhile taking part in notable art fairs worldwide all year round. The gallery is located in an old glass factory in the center of Reykjavík, Iceland, which has been renovated as an exhibition space. A new exhibition space is also in the works, set to open on 20 October 2022. The exhibitions are by presented artists of the gallery, as well as others that the gallery considers exemplary of the contemporary tonality it aims to reflect. The gallery’s artist roster spans a variety of both Icelandic and international artists, all relevant in today’s contemporary artistic landscape, as well as honoring some of art history’s greatest innovators.
