Eva Paià

She explores notions associated with connection, experimenting with methodologies aimed at facilitating our comprehension within an ongoing interrelationship. She is interested in protracted, unfinished, and tumultuous work processes. She frequently pays attention to the sounds that linger in the margins, weaving relational strategies between these and the bodies.

She graduated in Art History and completed an MA in Advanced Studies in Art History, both from the University of Barcelona. She currently manages and serves as the artistic director of Sala d’Art Jove. Since 2020, she has been collaborating with the Educational Department of MACBA, contemplating the institution and proposing alternative ways of engaging and giving voice within the museum. She is part of the research group “Temporalidades de Emergencia,” which explores the interdisciplinary analysis of the concept of time in a wounded world.
