tegenboschvanvreden is a contemporary art gallery representing a group of 18 international artists. The gallery has no fixed formula; it is a distinctly dynamic platform that constantly requires the revision of conceptual starting points. Since the opening of the gallery in 2009, tegenboschvanvre- den has been striving to realize specific projects and collaborations. The gallery functions, ideally, as a ‘laboratory for new ideas’. The program consists of exhibitions with young and more established international artists working in various media, most of whom have a research–based practice. Next to the exhibition program there is a side program of lectures, screenings, performances and book launches. Video art has a special place in the program of the gallery.
