Beckers+Kornfeld

Beckers+Kornfeld is a new collaborative gallery between Galerie Anita Beckers, Frankfurt and Galerie Kornfeld, Berlin. The newly incorporated gallery will continue to operate in those two locations. The aim of the gallery is the development and promotion of young and established contemporary artists, alongside rediscovered art pioneers. The emphasis is on the dialogue of these young artists with established artists. Galerie Anita Beckers was established in 1995 in Darmstadt and moved to Frankfurt in 1998. From the beginning, the emphasis has been on promoting young artists. The gallery has been a pioneer for the promotion of video and new media art. Galerie Kornfeld was established in 2011 in Berlin. In 2014, 68projects was established, with a focus on promoting young artists through exhibitions and residencies, with a focus on international collaborations. A close exchange between art and its audience has been at the center of the gallery since its beginnings.
