In her works Marina Nuñez often depicts aberrant, anomalous bodies existing on the fringes of the canon. She has exhibited at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation, Palma de Mallorca; DA2, Salamanca; Sala Rekalde, Bilbao; Sala Alcalá 31, Madrid; or Artium, Vitoria, among others. Collective exhibitions include shows at Fundación Miró, Barcelona; Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Buenos Aires; Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlín; White Box, New York; MOCAK, Cracow. Her work is part of significant private and public collections, among which are Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía; Artium; MUSAC; Es Baluard; Fundación La Caixa; Fundación Botín; or FRAC Corse.
