CHANG Li-Ren graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at the National Taiwan University of Art in 2006 and obtained his master’s degree in Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts from Tainan National University of the Arts in 2011. Chang’s body of work mainly consists of video installations, conceptual art and animations created from his story-telling techniques, featuring a virtual world that exists somewhere between imagination and reality. CHANG Li-Ren has participated in many important exhibitions, festivals and biennials, including: Battle City: Finale, MoNTUE, Taipei (2024); Battle City: Yesterday’s Dream, Chi-Wen Gallery, Taipei (2023); Eye of the Cyclone – Taiwanese Art Today, Le lieu unique, Nantes (2022);  Battle City: Narrative Thread, NCCU Art & Culture Center, Taipei (2022);  Double Echoing, Gwangju Biennale Taiwan C-Lab Pavilion, Asia Culture Center, Gwangju (2021); Wild Rhizome: 2018 Taiwan Biennial, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taichung (2018).
