Martin van Zomeren is a contemporary art gallery based in the heart of Amsterdam’s gallery district. Through consistently showing its artists in group and solo presentations, at the gallery and at international art fairs, Martin van Zomeren plays a central role in the growth of its artists in both the Dutch and international art world. Gallery artists have been included in many international exhibitions on various institutions such as Centre Pompidou, Paris; 54rd and 52nd Venice Biennale; Tate Modern, London; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing; Manifesta Biennial; Van Abbe Museum, Eindhoven; De Appel, Amsterdam; Kunst Museum Bonn; Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen; WIELS, Brussels; Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel; Bonnefantenmuseum, Maastricht, among others. Gallery artists’ works are part of numerous public collections such as Centre Pompidou, Musée d’Art moderne de la ville de Paris and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, S.M.A.K. Ghent, among others. In addition to the exhibitions, the gallery produces books and publications on a regular basis.
