LABOR

Founded by Pamela Echeverría in Mexico City, LABOR opened in 2009 working with artists whose creative processes are based on long-term investigations. LABOR has a strong commitment with the vision and concerns of our artists towards the contemporary political/social context. LABOR represents young artists, of mid and consolidated careers, both Mexican and international. The artists’ work approaches themes such as daily life; value and change; economic systems and social structures; the exploitation of natural resources; the ethics of human behavior and the hidden political structures in society.
