Galerie Crèvecoeur

The gallery opened in June 2008 and currently represents ten artists. The objective of the gallery is to build a compelling international program, in defence of artists whose miscellaneous practices converge in a reading that is at once informed and subtle of the current artistic context. The artists address methods of generating art ideas inside our era defined by “the crisis of originality” (R. Krauss) and question current conditions of producing images and objects. The gallery sees itself as a body that supports its artists in the various stages of production, exhibition and dissemination.
