Valérie Hasson-Benillouche founded the Charlot Gallery in 2010 with the aim of defending innovative contemporary art practices. The Gallery develops the relationship between Art, Technology and Science. OFF exhibitions such as Artists and Robots (Grand Palais, Paris 2018), Coding the World (2018), The Factory of the Living (2019) at the Centre Pompidou or Electronic Superhighways (Whitechapel, London, 2016), 100years of art and electricity (2021 Contemporary Art museum of Prague), ZKM (2022), Hermes Watches salon (2021 Geneve), Gaité Lyrique (2021) reflect the place of the gallery’s artists within international institutions. In May 2017 the Gallery opened a second space in Tel Aviv.
