Cole Gallery

Cole Gallery is located in the heart of downtown Edmonds, just blocks from the ferry landing in the center of town. As the largest gallery in the surrounding area we feature nationally acclaimed Northwest painters and sculptors from Washington and Oregon, with a few artists from other states. Many of our artist’s works come from the influences of the Impressionists with a wide range of subject and style from whimsical to classical. We also feature an exquisite collection of realism from contemporary masters of still life, landscape and the figure.

We specialize in original works in all sizes, but we also have limited edition giclee prints available by a number of the artists. In addition to our beautiful gallery space, we have Cole Art Studio, an 1,100 square foot teaching space where Cole Gallery artists offer workshops and classes.

How We Got Started

Denise Cole opened Cole Gallery & Artists’ Supplies in December of 2006. With a vision for bringing a national class gallery to Edmonds, this has been Denise’s second gallery venture, having been a co-owner of a studio gallery in the area for several years prior to finding the perfect location to fulfill her dream. As an integral part of the Northwest art scene, Denise has been an acclaimed watercolorist and oil painter, juror and instructor for twenty-five years. Utilizing her relationships developed with fellow painters, sculptors and glass artists from across the Northwest United States, Denise has succeeded in bringing some of the country’s finest artists to the gallery.

In June of 2012, Denise changed the gallery’s name to simply Cole Gallery, co-opening ARTspot, art supply store with her business partner, Tracy Felix. Carrying on the high quality line of art supplies the gallery previously featured, ARTspot is a thriving business and a fulfillment to Denise’s dream of bringing another great art store to the Edmonds community.
