‘Aka Ana & Atlas’. Antoine D’Agata

Galeria Carles Taché – Projects is pleased to present the second solo exhibition by French photographer Antoine D`Agata (Marseille, 1961). The exhibition includes his most recent works and consists of photographs, photo-etched and 2 video works. In addition, during the exhibition, the gallery will publish a poster. Photographer snapshots (made by the technique of fotocollage) show scenes limit: somehow capture the unrepresentable, narcotized and sexualized realities, personalities who in their fear or desire dissolve while they do the pictures. Documentaries ‘Aka Ana’ (2008) and ‘Atlas’ (2014) show us his experiments with the structure and syntax of the documentary language.
