Adrián Melis

Adrian Melis lives in Berlin, after being granted the Rijksakademie two-year residency grant. In 2014 he was shortlisted for the Future Generation Art Prize of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. The works of Melis have been acquired by MACBA, by the Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej and the MAS of Santander, and he was awarded by the Art Nou for the best exhibition in 2013 with Time to relax and the GAC Prize to the best exhibition in Barcelona for the show Nuevas estructuras de producción both at ADN Galería. His works have been exhibited at de Appel Arts Centre, at the Centre Pompidou of Paris and Málaga, at the MACBA, at the Stedilijk Museum, at Kunsthalle of Basel, at the MuzeumSztukiNowoczesnej in Poland, at the Queens Museum and MoMA -The Museum of Modern Art in New York, at the Museo de Bellas Artes of Santander and at the Centre d´Art La Panera, Lérida, among the most important institutions.
