Video Co-Productions

With the aim of promoting the creation of new video artworks and supporting the careers of artists specialized in this medium, Loop carries out a program of awards and grants in collaboration with key industry agents, both locally and internationally. The newly produced works resulting from these calls are often exhibited publicly during the Loop Festival.

  • Video Creation Award la Xarxa i Loop, aims to promote the work of artists who stand out for their innovative approaches in the creative process within the field of visual arts. This award seeks to support the co-production of a project where video serves as the central medium in the overall proposal.
  • Han Nefkens Foundation – Loop Barcelona Video Art Production Award
  • A-Place. Linking places through networked artistic practices, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, is dedicated to strengthening the bonds between people and places. A programme of placemaking activities will take place over the next four years in six European cities: Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Lisbon, Ljubljana, and Nicosia.
