Vicente Blanco, (Santiago de Compostela) graduated in Fine Arts in the Faculty of Pontevedra, University of Vigo. He has completed his studies in the Artistic Creation Workshop given by the artists Angel Bados and Txomin Badiola in Arteleku, San Sebastián, and completed the Doctorate courses at the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao. In 2012 he became a Doctor by the University of Granada at the Faculty of BBAA.
Between 1997-2010, he participated in the artistic creation grants of various institutions, foundations and museums that allowed him to value his extensive academic training by developing personal projects. His works cover disciplines as varied as: illustration, painting, mural, photography, installation collage or videocreación. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, including What is expected of us, CGAC, Santiago de Compostela, Sometimes happens when you are asleep, Reina Sofía National Museum of Art, Madrid, Rencontres Internationales, Paris / Berlin or The Real Wonderful, MOT, Tokyo.
He is currently a professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
