Valentín Roma

Valentín Roma was born in Ripollet in 1970 and currently lives in Badalona. Doctor in History of Art and Philosophy from the University of Southampton, he has curated exhibitions of contemporary art in Spain and abroad, from the Picasso Museum, the Tàpies Foundation or the CaixaForum in his city to the Venice Biennale or the Kunstverein in Stuttgart. He was chief curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona and is currently director of La Virreina Image Center in Barcelona.
