In 2023 Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi features in Thinking Historically in the Present, the 15th Sharjah Biennial. Solo exhibitions have taken place at Stevenson, Cape Town (2020; 2022), The Africa Center, New York (2019); and Seedspace Gallery, Nashville, Tennessee (2017), as well the multimedia work Equations for a Body at Rest, shown across public spaces in Birmingham as part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
