pli-é collective is a research and curatorship group created by Eva Paià, Marina Ribot Pallicer and Angelica Tognetti. From this shared space, they open debates about the creation of new institutions and they imagine proposals to return the term curatorship to its original etymology: the one that relates it to «care».

Since February 2021, they have collectively directed the Sala d’Art Jove, a space for artistic creation and research that depends on the Generalitat de Catalunya. From there they deploy a set of experimental processes to stimulate the training and professionalization of young artists and curators in collaboration with local and international centers.

They have collaborated with different spaces and institutions such as the Barcelona Art Galeries Association, Artnou, Santa Mònica, Fabra i Coats or the Catalan Art Critics Association (ACCA). The research Imaginaris aseptics in collaboration with Idensitat and La Escocesa stands out, within the framework of the European project ETI – Experimenter une Transformation Institutionnelle (2020-21). They have written in magazines such as A*desk or El Temps de les Arts.

They collaborate with the MACBA Education Department, where they conceptualize and visit their temporary exhibitions. In them they seek to accompany the visitors in the elaboration of a collective story, opening the dialogue to shared knowledge.
