Jeroen Jongeleen lives and works in Rotterdam. Jongeleen works primarily in public space, but at the same time he brings the street inside the walls of the exhibition space. With his interventions he comments on the over-regulated and socially engineered society and the position citizens occupy within it.
Jongeleen has exhibited at venues such as Kröller Müller Museum, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Stedelijk Museum Schiedam and Lisser Art Museum. His work is part of leading private and corporate art collections and museums such as Museum Voorlinden, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and Kröller Müller Museum.
