Carlos Cadenas

Co-founder and co-CEO of DAD, the Digital Art Device, and is the co-author of the forthcoming “Collect Digital Video Art, 2015/16 edition”, distributed by Les Presses du Réel.
He received his MFA from Cal Arts, and has over 15 years experience in the art-world as a dealer, curator, and collector. His most recent position was as the director of the Almine Rech Gallery in Paris. He has previously worked with emerging artists such as Darren Bader and Henry Taylor; mid-career artists such as Rashid Johnson and Aaron Curry; and historical figures such as James Turrell and Joseph Kosuth. He lives between Paris, France and Austin, Texas.
