The artist has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin; the 5th Thessaloniki Biennial of Contemporary Art, Greece; Savvy Contemporary, Berlin; Bienal Internacional de Curitiba, Brazil; Hamburger Kunsthalle; KW Institut für zeitgenössische Kunst, Berlin; Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Bonn or Gropius Bau, Berlin.

In 2022 Kahrs is participating in the 16e Biennale d’art contemporain de Lyon, which begins in September 2022 and is currently developing two solo exhibitions for 2023 at Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden and Schering Foundation in Berlin.

Her multimedia installation ‚how to live in the echo of other places‘ has opened in June 2022 in Hamburg, which she conceived for and commissioned by Ellen Blumenstein and Imagine the City e.V.. Kahrs has received numerous awards and grants, her works are part of private and institutional collections as Hamburger Kunsthalle (Germany) or ARTER Collection (Turkey).
