Andreu Rodríguez

Andreu Rodríguez is a businessman in the IT retail sector, where he fostered the creation of renowned brands internationally, such as Beep, PCBox, and Outlet PC. Among other things, Rodríguez is also an art patron and producer. Along with his wife Marie-France Veyrat, a multidisciplinary artist, he has been passionately collecting art for years. In 2004, together they created the ARCO-BEEP award for Electronic Art, which gave way to other pivotal projects, such as the initiation of the renowned collection of Electronic Art, with the support of the New Art Foundation. Headed by Vicente Matallana, the collection is presided by Andreu and it was initiated thanks to the invaluable collaborations of institutional patrons of great importance. The collection has recently received a GACC Award to collecting, and has been invited to take part to different events internationally, such ARCO, Ars Electronica, the Frankfurt Biennale.
