This catalogue gathers together the texts and images of the exhibition One Day I Stumbled Upon a Meteorite, curated by Carolina Ciuti and presented at Fabra i Coats on the occasion of LOOP Festival 2019 (13 November 2019, 19 January 2020).
The exhibition presented the work of eight artists who use cosmic space as a filter to represent human desires, life on Earth and knowledge. In different formats ranging from video projection to photography and installation, the pieces by Regina de Miguel, Irene Grau, Abel Jaramillo, Julia Llerena Iñesta, María Molina Peiró, Francisco Navarrete Sitja, Belén Rodríguez and Pedro Torres reduce the apparent distance between the universe and everyday life. As if walking down the street, we were to stumble upon a meteorite.
To accompany the selection, the series of activities by Cris Blanco, Núria Gómez Gabriel and Alexandra Laudo are also presented in this book.
