Max Torres Altés

Max Torres Altés has been collaborating with LOOP Barcelona since 2022, where he is currently part of the audiovisual and production team.

Graduated in Film and Audiovisual Media at ESCAC, he directed his first documentary short film “A Maiden Sings”, which had its international premiere at the Sheffield DocFest where it was awarded a special mention from the jury. It also had its national premiere at the 26th edition of the Malaga Festival and became a candidate for the Goya Awards in 2024.

As a professional specialising in audiovisual media, he is responsible for the technical production of the Fair and the Festival, the VIDEOCLOOP platform and research projects such as DOCUMENTS, dedicated to the irruption of video art in Spain.
