Jaume Reus

Jaume Reus has a Ph.D in Art History. As a cultural manager, he has worked as the director of Centro Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona and has been entrusted with temporary exhibitions, education, and dissemination in contemporary art museums and centres, including the Pilar y Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca (Palma de Mallorca) or the Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, also in Palma. He has taught in various universities: the University of the Balearic Islands, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and the Central University of Ecuador. He has also written papers for catalogues and specialised reviews, and he has taught courses and spoken at conferences in Mexico, the United States, Cuba, Ecuador, France and Spain. His curatorial projects have been displayed, among other places, in Mexico City (FAD and Academia de San Carlos, UNAM), Quito (Museo de la Ciudad and Centro de Arte Contemporáneo), Bonn (Tapetenfabrik) Toulouse (Les Abattoirs), Barcelona (Arts Santa Mònica) or Palma (Pilar y Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca and Casal Solleric).
