Holger Sprengel

Co-Founder of Espronceda  – Center for Art & Culture, and ACT UTOPIA Lab. He is member of several selection committees, such as the Arte Laguna Prize.  Espronceda – founded 2013 in Barcelona – is an innovative and contemporary art center, exhibition and work space. Espronceda provides a platform and multi-disciplinary environment for artists, curators, and everybody else who believes in the importance of art, culture and education for more creativity and a better World. Espronceda fosters established and aspiring international AND local  artists to develop their work and creativity, and to spread their inspiration beyond their physical stay in the space. Holger is also an entrepreneur, business angel and advisor since 1999. He successfully started, managed and sold a number of startup businesses, coming from gaming, mobility, health space, Blockchain and VR/AR/MR. He is convinced about the role of art for societal changes and innovation. Entrepreneur, business angel and advisor since 1999. And he loves any innovation and art! Holger holds a MBA, as well as a PhD in International Law.
