Announcing the winners of the 2nd A-PLACE Video Production Open Call

63 entries from professional artists from 17 European countries were submitted to the second A-PLACE – Video Production Open Call, in its 2021 edition. We would like to thank everyone who submitted a proposal for their interest and efforts.

Although only one prize was foreseen for this call, the jury decided to give two awards ex-aequo to these two projects, as a recognition for their cogent quality of their proposals, especially in relationship to the notion of placemaking:

– Beans, Rinsed Twice by Inês Neto dos Santos & Bella Riza
– I Can Only Dance to One Song by Arash Fayez

The jury members were  Denise Araouzou (independent curator), Luisa Bravo (City Space Architecture, Bologna), Leandro Madrazo (School of Architecture La Salle, Barcelona) and Ramón Parramón (IDENSITAT, Barcelona). Open Call Coordinator: Victoria Sacco.
