She has a degree in History of Art and an official Master’s Degree in Art History advances studies by the University of Barcelona with the thesis Ye-yé: Youth culture, pop and conflict in the Spanish cinema of the second half of the sixties.
Curator of exhibitions, cultural manager and art critic. Pilar Cruz has developed her work in several institutions, public and private companies in Spain and Portugal, such as the Museu de Serralves, the MACBA, the CaixaForum, Can Felipa or Sant Andreu Contemporani, among others.
In the field of pedagogical mediation, Pilar Cruz has directed several projects for CaixaForum Barcelona and Madrid. As for teaching, it imparts the Course of Production and Management of Photographic Projects in Idep since 2012.
