Gabriela Golder (Argentina, 1971) is a visual artist, researcher, curator, and professor in Argentina and internationally. She mainly works with moving images, exploring themes of memory, identity, institutional violence, and labor.
Her works have received several awards, including: Honorable Mention at the Sharjah Biennial (2023); ArtHaus Award for Electronic Arts (2022); Presidency of the Nation Award at the 109th National Salon of Visual Arts (2021); Itaú Visual Arts Award (2020); Estado da Arte at the 21st Sesc_Videobrasil Biennial (2019); Ars Electronica, 80+1 Project (2009); Media Art Award from ZKM, Germany (2004); and the Tokyo Video Award, Japan (2002).
Recent exhibitions include: Seeing through Stone, San José Museum of Art, USA (2024); Signos na Paisagem, Bienalsur, CCBB RJ, Brazil (2024); Dream City, Tunis (2023); Desert Eyes, Andreani Foundation, Buenos Aires (2023); Sharjah Biennial, UAE (2023); and Droit du regard, Château de Goutelas, France (2022). She lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
