She is a member of CIMAM and the Norwegian Association of Curators.  From November 2024, Rusnak is a guest researcher at the MACBA Research and Study Centre, Barcelona.

Rusnak’s curatorial practice is rooted in her experience in communication, audience engagement and community outreach, and a commitment to creating more open and inclusive spaces for contemporary art. In 2022 Rusnak was the art mediator for the SOLO OSLO exhibition with artist Apichaya Wanthiang at MUNCH, Oslo, where she  collaborated with The Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted Youth (NbfU) to make the exhibition more accessible to blind and visually impaired audiences. Other projects include In the Eyes of the Child (2021) at Kunsthall Oslo. This exhibition was co-curated by a local youth board, and part of the wider project Oslo Art and Knowledge Workshop, a programme that invites young audiences and creators into the institution.
