A video essay that proposes a reflection on the instantaneity, logistics and excess of the real-time image as "pure arrival." In line with LOOP Barcelona 2019's focus on production.
The piece deals with the production of a livestream image and reflects on the instantaneity, logistics and excess of the real-time image as “pure arrival.” When the real moment is no longer the present moment, we did not have time to prepare to see it… –the excess and disinformation by data, figures, images and sounds. A global emotion falsified by the immediacy of the real time optical workflow. A connected vision of the future: we will all watch weather updates as a sort of overexposed postscript to the total electronic control by real-time interactive representation. Is there not something comparable? Everything is already there.
