In March 2020, with the implementation of global confinement and since the WHO declared Covid-19 a pandemic, we thought we were living in a dystopia. The destabilization, the social isolation with severe limitations of movement, tahe hyper-connectivity of our guarded comfort capsules, the suspension of the usual functioning of living and working conditions for many and in many regions, accelerated some processes derived from globalization, post-capitalism and digitalization initiated decades ago. What is certain is that we inhabit an immense laboratory that generates data on the foundations of our culture and our civilization, our ideas and ideology; our customs, movements, philias and phobias. Material with which to experiment and use on the set of disciplines that revolve around the human being: philosophy, ethics, economics, psychology, science and art. The machinery of the digitalization process works inexorably, metadata, microdata, algorithms, artificial intelligence … significantly altering fundamental aspects of our reality and drastically changing the nature of creative processes. AI, NFTs, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Generative Art, Deep Learning, Genera-tive Adversarial Networks, Virtual Reality, Metaverse, autonomous robots, computational creativity, StyleGAN… The growing use of new concepts and digital technologies in numerous disciplines, as a creative tool, open the way to new forms of expression and raise debates on authorship or originality, on relations with the public, institutions or the market, which we must face.
