Anne-Charlotte Finel‘s videos are on the border between fiction and reality, nature and cityscape. She graduated from the Paris École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts. Finel has exhibited in museums and galleries in France, such as the Musée du Quai Branly; Palais de Tokyo; or Jousse Entreprise Gallery. Recently she had a solo show in the galerie Edouard Manet in Gennevilliers. Her work was shown also in Moscow, New York, Barcelona and Istanbul. She was awarded the Fondation François Sommer video prize in 2015, and the Prize of the Conseil Départemental des Hauts-de-Seine in the Salon de Montrouge in 2016. She has recently completed a residency between the Delme synagogue and Tabakalera in San Sebastian; in Orsay; and in the Paris Cité Internationale des Arts. She has been also a member of Polar Inertia, a group working mostly with electronic music. Lives and works in Paris.
