The declaration “We are an island” leave us the space to compare Island and Human being at a physical and psychological level, where the change is the modification of any circumstance, situation or condition, physical or not physical, in a way that the original becomes not only different from what it was, but also changed in such a radical way that it becomes absolutely unrecognisable and impossible of returning to anything that assembles it previous state.
Insula is about the idea of island as a metaphor of the Human Being, highlighting the notion of one’s inner loneliness as an impulse to the construction and reinvention of its identity.
